| Abstract | The text that is proposed analyses the well-known theory of the «anonymous Christianity» conceived by Karl Rahner in the light of the current debate on the theology of religions. This essay highlights the fundamental different aspects of anonymous christianity and – unlike the theologies of religious pluralism – its recent revival. This essay also compares anonymous christianity with the solicitations of the Council, that inspired it and it reflects on its present pastoral importance in a more and more multi-ethnic and multireligious world. |
