Abstract | The article interprets the line from Luke chapter 10 line 29 which says "who is my neighbour?" It explains the line as an individual's or groups of people's struggle to see each other as they relate with one another. To Jesus, the subject of neighbour transcends beyond the borders of His Jewish community and not limited to a community of people and religion. For Him, the true sense of neighbourliness is the action of love, sacrifice and humble service without regard for religion, nationality, colour and culture. |
