| Abstract | The author outlines a Catholic approach to other religions before critically examining a recent development in the theology of religions called "comparative theology". D'Costa assess this development and argues it lacks the important need for "theological judgement" and stops short at "understanding" and "self-transformation", which while both necessary, are inadequate in themselves. |
