| Abstract | The author is a Franciscan who teaches Missiology at the National Catholic Institute of Theology in Pakistan. It is from that location that he reflects on the well-known chapter of the gospel of John where we see dialogue and mission as an inspiration for the New Evangelization. This first part offers insights into the woman's coming to faith, while the second part next month will deal with the reaction of the disciples and the johannine discourse of Jesus on mission. |
