| Abstract | Many of our readers may be aware of the Khristbhakta movement spearheaded by the Indian Missionary Society around Varanasi and other areas of North India. The author has made a theological doctoral research on this movement and is Director of Maitri Bhavan, Dialogue Centre and Institute for the Study of Religions. His article shows a pattern of dialogal mission action today that may take similar forms in various parts of India and Asia. A theological discussion on this long experience could be a valuable contribution to the life of the Church, not only in India but in many other situations of pluralism of religions and cultures. |
