| Abstract | Many of our readers may be aware of the Khristbhakta movement spearheaded by the Indian Missionary Society around Varanasi and other areas of North India. The author who made a theological doctoral research on this movement continues to offer our readers his sober reflections on its characteristics and value. The movement points to a pattern of dialogal mission for today that may have other variations in India and elsewhere in Asia. A theological discussion on this long experience can be a valuable contribution to the life of the Church, not only in India but in many other situations of pluralism of religions and cultures. |
