Abstract The author is a Sri Lankan priest at present teaching in the Faculty of Missiology of the Pontifical Urban University. He is also the Under-Secretary of the Pontifical Council for Interreligious Dialogue. The ecumenically ground-breaking document of the Pontifical Council for Interreligious Dialogue (PCID),the world Council of churches's programme on Interreligious Dialogue and Co-operation (WCC-IRDC) and the World Evangelical Alliance (WEA) entitled, 'Christian witness in a Multi-Religious World: Recommendations for Conduct' reached its first anniversary on 28th of June 2012. This article seeks to analyse its value and usefulness for alla Christians who are members of 'One Body' and are also called to be witnesses to the world and be collectively sign and symbol of the reign of God, and to collaborate with other religions to bring peace and harmony to the world.
