Abstract The article criticizes on the trinitarian theology of Gavin D'Costa, and the relevance and practicality of Peter C. Phan's multiple religious belonging in the Asian context as far as inter-religious dialogue is concerned. It is inferred that D'Costa's particularity puts stress on the differences in each faith, but denies that there are structures for salvation in them, despite the working and presence of the Holy Spirit. Phan believes that any discussion about God or the divine should be pluralistic, due to Asia's cultural and religious diversity.
