| Abstract | According to a current idea in Catholic theology, Noachism is a biblical-theological category linked to a theology of ?cosmic? religions. In fact, Noachism is a systematic biblical-theological elaboration, linked to a theology of religions and of cultures, starting from Rabbinic Judaism. Part of its origins even lie in the Judaism of the Biblical period; it was then developed in post-biblical Judaism, matured in Rabbinic Judaism right into the Talmudic tradition. For the noachists, Judaism gives an epistemological and theological statute to Christianity and Islam. Although it has been used sporadically and vary selectively in Christian tradition, it is still possible to re-design the sector of Noachism even in the Christian context, for a theology with other religions. |
