| Abstract | In Europe a culture is spreading that is weak, postmodern, marked by resignation before the truth, by a crisis of meaning and multiple neopagan phenomena. Also, a growing number of immigrants flooding our continent defend, at times vehemently, their own ways of life. In these circumstances coexistence is difficult and a relativistic democracy is not capable of assuring the rights of the person. Christianity offers a solution. Not only does it consider man capable of the truth but it offers him the absolute and eternal truth itself on which to firmly base suitable values for a peaceful and respectful coexistence between peoples. |
