| Abstract | Proceeding from the increasingly recognized necessity of an interreligious dialogue for the establishment of peace among the nations, the author tries to analyze the efforts of the catholic church in this field for the last decades as well as its development and its contribution for peace in this world. Above all he emphasizes the importance of the reciprocal relation between faith and reason, theology and anthropology. In this context and in searching truth it becomes obvious, that conscience, regarded as the remembrance of the basic values, is an inalienable reference point. |
