| Abstract | The author offers a few reflections on Dominus Iesus placing it in the via media of inclusivism within the evolving theology of religions. He shows how it is in line with Chalcedonian Christology, which remains normative for Christian faith. Hovewer this Christology is not the last word, as it does not show sufficiently the significance of the life, death and resurrection of Jesus and of his teaching. Chalcedon must let the full power of the Jesus of the gospels shine through. |
