| Abstract | The article is a contribution to the field of liturgical inculturation. It contributes to a better understanding of liturgical inculturation of "faith incarnated". This is why the a., after clarifying the concepts of the explanatory subtitled "faith celebrated and faith incarnated", takes as an example of the incarnation of faith through the medium of liturgical music, the particular example of the Benedictine community of Keur Moussa (Senegal), the fruit of a symbiosis between Gregorian chant and traditional African music with the kora. On the basis of this unique experience in a mission territory, the author proposes a number of principles for an incarnational liturgical music and some criteria for a fruitful dialogue between different cultures in the area of liturgical inculturation. |
