| Abstract | Christian theological reflection on religious diversity is still experiencing new developments in the creation of interpretive paradigms. On the one hand, the new models aim to overcome the limits of the classical typological scheme, and, on the other hand, they try to reconcile the value and the positive meaning of religious pluralism while respecting the confessional identity and its claims to truth and finality. This framework requires a review of the identity of a Christian theology of religions, and also enables new hermeneutical horizons and new proposals, such as reciprocal inclusivism and particularism. |
