| Abstract | Speaking at the ?Centro Astalli - Jesuit Refugee Service in Italy?, on the occasion of the World Day of Migrants and Refugees, p. Nicol?s, Superior General of the Society of Jesus, said that ?migrations are a source of benefits for the various countries?. In addition, migrants show us the weakest part, but also the strongest of mankind: first, because they have experienced fear, violence, loneliness and prejudice of others; second, because they make us understand how to overcome fear with courage through taking risks. Also, migrants show us the face of mercy, which is a central concept of many religions, in particular of Christianity, Judaism and Islam. |
