| Abstract | Efforts to formulate a theology of mission in Asia have their starting point in the awareness that the first task of Asian Catholics is to build up a true local Church. In order to grow, this Church must be committed to a profound dialogue with local religions and in a dialogue of solidarity with the great mass of the poor. It is possible to communicate the Faith in Asia only on this basis of dialogue. However, it is also necessary to develop a theology of conversion and baptism that are always one of the objectives that Mission never give up. |
