Abstract The article attempts to analyze the Christological formulations of theologian Stanley J. Samantha especially in the context of religious plurality. It assesses the appropriateness of Samantha's Christology to the religiously plural context of India. It offers a biographical background of Samantha, including his education and studies. It also highlights his search for a revised Christology, his proposal for a theocentric Christology, and comparison of a Helicopter Christology with a bullock cart Christology.
