| Abstract | In the United States some surveys have ascertained that the belief in the angels is very high, around 72%. In other countries (Italy included) their main presence still characterizes popular religiosity, where angels represent a continuum with the past. There are many theatrical representations and processions with angels. But a new supernatural phenomenology regards literature, novels, messages, Internet and other mass media: angels and aliens are protagonists in the world of teenagers and adults. At the end of second millennium and at the beginning of third millennium a revival concerning angels is evident. |
