Abstract The a. starts with the faith struggles involved in her own interreligious marriage and of other interreligious couples in the Indian context and goes on to suggest a paradigm shift that will allow Catholics in interfaith families to become welcome partners in inter-religious dialogue. She concludes with some sound recommendations for the pastoral care of interreligious families. The article was originally a paper presented at the Bishops' Institute for Interreligious Affairs (BIRA VI) during the Asian Celebration of the 50th Anniversary of Nostra Aetate at the Redemporist Center, Pattaya, Thailand, 16-20 November 2015 under the auspices of the Office of Ecumenical and Interreligious Affairs (OEIA) of FABC.
