| Abstract | The author in this article explains the centrality of the experience of God in the Indian spiritual tradition and the importance it had in the life of Jesus and in the birth of his Church. He comments the significance it has for an authentic witness of Christian life in the country. In passing he uncovers the various ways in which our faith life has become routinized and suggests ways of making it more vibrant. |
