| Abstract | This article focuses on the “Foreword” of Veritatis gaudium and summarises its contents from the perspective of “remaining on the borderline” (between faith and culture); at the end it allows to see the possibility of further developments. Three steps are being described: 1) the confidence in the encounter between faith and culture, that has left a mark in the way after the Council; 2) the necessity on the present time to live the complexity and to realise a cultural laboratory; 3) the challenge for the future to move from “remaining on the borderline” to “living the divine traces of the human”. |
