| Abstract | Karl Barth has the reputation of disregarding the different religions or passing only negative judgements on them. Unpublished texts show that he intensely endeavoured to find a viable theological approach to other religions. This essay explores the possibilities and limits of a contemporary "theology of religions" which become visible in the light of Barth's theology. |
