| Abstract | The Cadr was founded in Milan in 1990 thanks to the sensitivity of Cardinal Carlo Maria Martini. At the beginning there was a commitment of documentation for a better understanding of religions. Then the Centre tried to meet the various religious communities in the diocese. Since the Islamic communities were the more numerous and more visible, much work has been addessed to the Muslims. It is early to talk about results in the dialogue, but one can say that at least among the leaders of the different communities, and among many of the faithful, a climate of mutual trust has matured. |
