| Abstract | The article presents an analysis pertaining to the Biblical verse found in Matthew 6:19-34 through a narrative approach. The plot and subplot is analyzed, which includes a detailed explanation of the plot and characters in the story from the said Gospel of Matthew. It explains the irreconcilability of God and mammon or wealth, and the conflict it represents. |
